A purest at heart, and cut from the cloth of the troubadours and balladeers we all know and love, Luke Fox has been working hard through the years to carve out his own unique sound while passing down the line, songs of old and taking pride in shedding light on the new. With just his guitar, a voice filled with all the character you’d imagine an old crooning storyteller might have, a harmonica, and kick drum, Luke paints landscapes in vivid imagery where devils and angels roam and collide. Drawing from personal heartache and triumph, he’s been known to get the feet moving and the tears flowing. He’s a true original, powerful, yet visibly vulnerable with each performance. He cares deeply about music and it shows. Seeing him LIVE is the best way to really get to witness his unique brand of folk, country, rock, and Americana.

The Oktoberfest Kiddie Parade will be held Friday, October 3rd at 6:00 PM. The parade will organize in the parking lot of St. Patrick’s Church. Kids are to enter the parking lot from Ransom Street. The parade will start from Ward Street then proceed down Church Street ending in the parking lot of South Ottumwa Savings Bank. No vehicles are allowed in the parking lot for the safety of the kids. 

Awards will be given in each category.
Classes are as follows: 0–1-year-old, 2-3 years old, 4 years old & Kindergarten, Grades 1st & 2nd, Grades 3rd, 4th & 5th, Group Category, Floats Category (no motorized vehicles)

The parade is open to children through 5th grade. Older children may participate but are not eligible for judging. Motorized vehicles / battery operated WILL NOT be permitted in the parade. I.E. Barbie Cars, Power Wheels. NO COST TO PARTICIPATE. 

Pre-register by emailing marketing@sosb-ia.com through Noon on Friday, October 3rd. 

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN IN THE PARKING LOT. Kids would be allowed to participate but NOT be judged. Arrive by 5:30 to assemble with assigned number attached to their back. The winners will be announced in the parking lot of South Ottumwa Savings Bank. 

The rain location is Quincy Place Mall. The location change will be announced no earlier than 4:00pm.
